hey i just got back from a regatta...and my ass is killing me
for today i sailed a sunfish, and yesterday i was on a laser...the laser is sooo much more comfortable for hiking
for my sunfish, what do you guys think about wearing bike shorts as hiking shorts? my baggys should work for hiking, shouldn't they? they are hella padded.

jsut got back from a regatta too! got sixth place out a sixteen on laser full rig. ass hurts too, dont have hicking shorts ether. im gonna get the wetsuit ones. i dunno about bike shorts. howd you do overall? mm it was fun. sailer chicks are hot.

i did bad. my boat broke like a bitch. the only regatta that i haven't won in....i dont know how long.

oh. i use the clubs boats and stuff, but there rigs suck so i have to buy all my own lines and should get my own spars and sail, but i dont. wow. i got first in a race, it was my first first ever. yea. how many races you get in? we only got 5 cus of the wind, and there were no throw outs.

yea i have some of the wetsuit hiking shorts from annapolis performance sailing and they are nice. what does everyone sail on here?

First summer regatta tommorow! Let me guess, you were in salt water. Hate that stuff. Yeah spandex (biking shorts) helps a lot, but hiking pants are the best. Cant wait for the 420 regattas this week, so excited!

salt water is better wind, i like it better when i am in boats that dont capsize much like 420s. but i like sailing lasers on fresh water cus then i dont mind falling in, downwind i tend to lean harder and i dunno, its just warmer and more inviting. next regatta i am going too is salt water, cold water. oh well.

hey, buy some sailing angles shorts. I sail like everyday and they keep your ass from getting sore and wet. Definately worth the money.

29ers are liek a smaller version of the 49er. that olympic class boat. they are sooooo fast. its insane. i weigh 160 amd in 8 knots i am fully out on the trapeze. soo fast. huge spinaker. its like skateboarding. in high wind it would be sooooo scary. i would shit myself. oh man. also in a regatta starts would be soooo scary. ah i wanted to go practice todya but i am going to my cabin fort the week and wakeboarding foolios.

420s capsizing too much? Hmmm sounds like someone needs to learn how to sail...j/k but I rarley tip over in a 420. Probally like 2 times a year on accident. Its all about good boathandling and that almost eliminates the problem!

no, no i said tyhat i like to sail in salt water better in a 420 because i do not tip over. and lasers in fresh cus they are more fun.
