Hey I am in need of new park skis. I have the afterbangs but they are pretty beat up. I have narrowed down my choices to the Icelantic Da'Nollie and the Atomic Punx. I am 5 foot 4, 13 years old, and weigh 115 pounds. I ski rails 70% of the time and jumps 30%. I like a soft, lightweight, poppy ski. I live in Salt Lake City Utah, and ski at Brighton Ski resort. K+ for help. Thank you!
The punx are alright but have construction problems. Out of those two I would really push the da nollie. At your weight though I would think about riding a softer ski such as the traveling circus ski form line or or the k2 press or recoil.
I would also suggest some of the k2 skis. I have the domains and they are awesome, they are rockered but not to heavy and quite soft which is great for rails but they also hold up fine on jumps
We've had thin edges in the past, but for 12/13 we have a thicker edge (plus better material). There is also a video floating around here of a guy trying to break a pair, and he cannot snap them to save his life. Pretty funny actually
Every ski that is made is a mixture of handmade and machine made processes. There is no such thing as an entirely handmade ski nor an entirely machine made ski.
