Videos not playing on Google Chrome.

I just recently got google chrome, and all of a sudden, i open up youtube, and it shows the video thumbnail, ok, normal, but then I click on play and it proceeds to show a white screen while the audio plays in the background. This is not just on YouTube however, but all sites with videos, and is really frustrating. I was wondering if anybody has had this happen to them before, and how they fixed it? +k will be awarded generously as always

its happened to me several times. if you completely close out chrome then reopen it works again

usually chrome autoupdates upon closure, force an update if you can, if not, it's an error with the latest build would be my guess
