when I watched the pilot it reminded me of the cutscenes from grand theft auto games so I kept watching. since I'm home all day i've been watching it a little. it's okay, I don't usually watch drama shows though.
"breaking bad fucking sucks. Just like weeds. Tv is such a fucking joke.
I think walking dead was the best tv show that's been on in a while. Pretty much all tv is shit. Breaking bad is entertaining but it's still fucking shit. " - me in another thread.
It was insanely disappointing after being fluffed so much. For every shitty show there's a million fluffers. Started out decent though. Actually was pretty good at first. Then just kept going down from there.
including watch and follow a show that you think "sucks". Your life must be pretty fucking boring if you have time to watch all these shitty shows on television. If you don't like them, don't watch them and go outside?
"including watch and follow a show that you think "sucks""
I've really watched and followed it. I watched the first couple seasons on netflixed while going to bed. Started off decent then started to go downhill fast. Overlooked the small shit. Made it to the end of season 3 and said fuck it. That was some time in the spring while I was laying in bed getting over surgery.

Yes my life is so boring. Actually only on here at the moment because last minute decided to stay here and get better and not drive down to south carolina tonight for a show tomorrow then atlanta then back up to ny.
"If you don't like them, don't watch them and go outside?"
I don't watch tv. The only clips of most tv shows I've seen were at other peoples houses when they flipped them on.
And for go outside? I've been all over the fucking place all summer. I can almost guarantee I've had a massively more eventful summer than you. It's been non stop ridiculousness all over the country.
But of course, I simply mentioned that the tv show you're raving about blows, and that means by life must be incredibly boring.
Not really about the topic. Watched the few episodes of whatever were on netflix. Seemed to have decent movement. Also not any ridiculous plot twists for the sake of ridiculous plot twists. At least that I remember. Think it was decent.
I'm not saying tv needs to be realistic, I just think it's lame when the plot twists in ways that don't make any sense to try to make it more interesting.
The whole hitting the people with the car scene was the dumbest fucking thing. Yeah it looked cool, but it just brought the movement of the show to another low.
Unrealistic drug shows are the new in. Sell weed, then suddenly work for the cartel, have drive bys in hybrids, and all that shit.
Making meth because you care so much about your family. Do something that will get you in your family killed for no reason other than to help someone that's been fucking you over and you just worked with so he wouldn't rat you out. Makes so much sense. Also that whole scene was incredibly realistic.
My point is simply that they could make the shows with real situation that actually could possibly happen and it wouldn't take away from the show. There's no need to try and put all this fucking ridiculousness into the show to make it more interesting.
I'm about done with season 1 and I love it. I just watched the episode where he blows up Tuco's place with mercury fulminate, but it turns out that was unrealistic. I'm a chem major so I like the chemistry stuff, but it bums me out if I find out it wasn't realistic.
Still awesome.
And in response to the guy above, Tv isn't supposed to be realistic, it's supposed to be entertaining.
Like I said not realistic like something that happens, will def happen, but something that kind of maybe could happen or at least makes fucking sense to happen.
I just find a lack of realism to be lame. Glad I don't have to be glued to my tv for any shows. Xbox and some netflix action is good enough for me.
When you were born, the police arrested your dad, the doctor slapped your mom, animal control euthanized your brother, and A&E made a documentary that saved your life.
thought i'd bump this up again. I'm most of the way through season 3 so far. New favourite show after The Walking Dead. I need to watch Dexter aswell by the sounds of it?
