Most Durable Skis

What ski is probally the most durable and will last the longest? I am really tired of skis breaking on me.

My first pair of skis were 2009 K2 Silencers. You get what you pay for I guess. The tops seemed really soft and chipped wide open easy. The felt waterlogged after some spring skiing on their second season. This probably isn't an accurate representation of K2 because these were the lowest of the low.

Now I have 4FRNT The Click! I love them. They're pretty low end as well. Now edge problems, bases seem pretty resilient, and the top sheets have some coating I think that keeps 'me purty

K2 sidewall skis are durable as fuck! i'd say more than about any other brand. They just keep going and going and going...

Most people don't like them but lean skis are durable. I had a pair I bought for 299, used for 3 years, then resold for 250 they were still in good shape. Check them out

I also break everything... Lol my sidewall just blew out on my K2 Recoils. Now pretty much deciding between Armada Halo 2's and ON3P Filthy Rich. Don't know which one to go with...

armadas break so fucking quickly, ive skied them for the past 4 season and the edges break about halfway through the season, I feel like building strong edges is the absolute most important part in making a ski I dont understand why so many companies dont act on that. Looks like I might have to try some ON3Ps

there is no "most durable" ski, although some company's that are notorious for very Durable skis would consist of company's like Praxis and On3p

Its not really fair to compare normal skis to heavy slabs of metal.and no I haven't skied them but they destroy drill bits.

tranny_slammerWell they are actually durable like a skate deck: they don't really snap. But then again, skateboards don't have edges, a base, topsheets, etc.


Definitely snapped the first afterbang they made. Can't speak for the newer models.
