Filmed this one in two days. The first day was from land, where I was able to get the timelapses and filler shots. The second was from my kayak, which allowed me to get to the island in the middle of the falls, to get most of the action shots. I had my tripod, slider and a few dryboxes to protect my camera and lenses. A lot of the shots had people flipping, or getting off line, so I couldn't use a lot of the shots I had that had cool composition. I had a rode mic, which was recording audio, but I mess around with it and could find a good way to incorporate it. The cicada sound at the beginning were recorded with the mic. It was just a teaser, so I didn't need that many shots.
Never asked you guys for a critique, cuz there is always something I'm not totally satisfied with in my edits. Whether its filming or editing, something is always off, but I was very pleased with the way this one came out, so rip me new one. Below is the way I presented the video to the public:

The 2012 Great Falls Race will be on July 14, 2012, and is being put on by the staff and students of Liquid Adventures Kayak School, for the benefit of the American Whitewater Assn.
