Up for sale is this very unique, rare, 5 speed, 1988 Nissan Pulsar NX SE with the Sportbak option. A great, reliable, quirky, car in great condition. Looks like it could be a cousin of a Delorean. Bought this car last year for $2900 from an antique auto body shop. Since then ive probably put about $1500 in it with a new exhaust system and some other parts. At the time it had only 80k miles on it and was my friends, grandfathers, summer ride, but he rarely used it so he sold it through the antique auto body shop. Its been garaged every winter so there is little to no rust on it. This car is mint, nothing broken, just got a new sticker put on it last week, runs purrrrrrfect, also a t-top convertible.
Transmission shifts very smoothly (Its a manual), The interior is really clean for how old the car is, and almost everything in and on the car is stock. In 2013 it will be old enough to get antique plates put on it. Everything works in the car, odometer, interior lights, all the switches, etc.. The back seat folds down to give lots of room for car parts in the back. Also has T-top storage under the rear floor!
All of the accessories work. Pop up headlights look and work great, The Nissan factory tool kit and directions for removeing the Sportbak are included! Yes, Nissan intended for this car to be driven without the T-tops or rear hatch for that open air diriving pleasure!
I hate to see this baby go, but its time for a new owner. email me or call me at 207-333-8103 for any questions! Thanks! :-)
