Anyone Planning to Move to Summit County area this season

Im making another cross country drive from Massachusetts all the way to Summit County Colorado. Keystone to be exact. Is anyone else doing this? Going from the EC to Colorado maybe even summit county?

I need a roomate as well anyone know of any places.. I really dont wanna live in Tenderfoot again...Im working at the Basin and im gonna try to find another job in a shop as I have sales skillls

How is Vail I have interest in going there in fact im gonna apply there but I just know summit county and where to find cheap food Ect...Im afraid Id be even more broke in vail but I would like to Meet more chicks then summit county specifically Keystone...

Thats cool should be a good time its a long road be glad you have a few different drivers... Im dreading doing it Alone but im not headed out till early Nov

Personally I like Vail better. I used to live in Summit Cove in Dillon but I decided I like living in Vail better after trying both areas out.  Vail has a free transportation system which is huge IMO, and there are allot of jobs that offer employee housing, but your roommates are random so you never know who you’ll live with. In general it’s very easy to find a job in Vail or Eagle County in general. Work for the mtn and your pass is free. You can find food specials the same way you could in Keystone (like at Dos Locos), you just have to search it out, look for specials and talk to locals.  As far as chicks the ratio is 8 guys to 1 girl so not much will change there. damn I wanna go. Graduated from college out in CO last year but now I'm back in MA as well. When were you thinking of heading out there? I'd prob. want to live in breck/frisco, not a huge fan of Dillon or Vail

missed this post. The drive isn't too bad solo, i've done it four times now and usually get there in two days and then sleep a full day straight. best time to drive is at night

Vail can be a good time but I just think it's more of a place to visit than a place to live. For me, if I were going for a small town like Vail I'd rather go to a place like Telluride. Also, almost everytime i've been there, we've had run in's with the popo. The mountain itself is awesome, just not a place I'm looking to move to

ya I think your right vail is a great place to visit not to live...Im gonna just work at the basin or Mammoth if I can get in there....yea iv driven it two times it sucks real bad i drove straight through one time then stop 2 times the second time..either way its lonely if you not with anyone
