K so we know Wallish didnt, but it seems like popularity is at an all time low for first drop. they double posted the suit picker 2 weeks apart and got about 10 replies total in the 2 threads. The have enough overstock to say "we are re releasing certain models from last year to help give more color options" since the zip off arms dont work on old vs new jackets, we know its just old stock.

what happened ?

Last Friday?
Summer?
First Drop didnt make skis?
Waterproofing matters ?
Quality Matters ?
Recession?

any help would be great ! +k ns !

im not saying i have anything against it i just remember it having a mixed reception, like the last friday edit. i think they are both pretty funny and i dont really give a shit about the impression it might be seen to give. there was a time i considered getting some fd (before the penis logo incident) but i got my magic suit and will wear that till its in pieces/stops being waterproof (and even then i might try and re-waterproof it)

Late march. I don't remember the exact dates. Rained the first couple days, and about 6" of extremely wet snow after that. The kind that instantly melts when it hits you.

at the risk of sounding like a salty old korean war vet i'm going to say this: when i was 10 i spent a lot of time on the mountain getting chased out of the "snowboard park" because i wanted to hit jumps and shitty half pipes on my skis instead of racing.

i didn't spend a few good years of my childhood dodging ice balls from snowboarders at the top of the park so i could watch a bunch of little retards try to pretzel the flat box in the park in their gay ass fd skittle suits. take some pride in the fact that skiing is cool again. if you want to look like a retard go to the salvation army or go thru your dad's old ski gear. if you're going to spend your hard-earned money on outerwear, support a company that supports the ski industry, not david lesh's toy box. saga, armada, orage, trew, moment, and million other brands out there make legitimate outerwear that looks good and the money you spend on their product goes back into the sport you love. don't give your money to this rich bitch.

As someone who DOES ride "real" snow and "real" mountains with tons of friends all over the fucking US, and has had plenty of those friends fall victim to first drop, I can deduce that you must either be a crappy skier, or be lying.

I'm going to assume you aren't lying though, and go with : You sir, suck at skiing. Just because you haven't put your gear through it's paces doesn't mean that it's good gear, it just means you don't ride hard.
