Hello newschoolers I rode 155 last year which seemed short. I'm around 5,8 and 125 pounds and looking to get my 2nd pair of skis so what's the correct size. Idk if it matters but I ride 80% park and 20% groomers. Also what's the benifit to a bigger size lastly will it be a hard adjustment. Thanks
Look into something between 170 and 175. You want it around your size. A longer ski adds more stability, and makes for a more comfortable ski. It shouldn't be that hard of an adjustment, if you're a strong skier, you'll get over it right away. Just don't bitch about ski weight like all th other 14 year olds on this site. Nobody's fault but theirs.
When I was around your size I rode 172s in the park and on the occasional groomed run, the length felt right for what I wanted to do. It is all personal preference but I wouldn't have gone sub170.
