Favorite golf course you've played

I know there are a ton of golfers on ns, so lets hear about your favorite course you've played.

Mine is Wine Valley in Walla Walla, it's Whitman's home course. Love the layout and the fact the course is in the middle of a wheat field with no highways or houses around so you hear nothing but wheat rusting in the wind. The Tri-Cities also don't get much rain so you can count on it being a nice, hot sunny day during the summer.

ive been lucky enough to play all over the east coast as my dad is a pro and i work at a golf course, but obviously pine valley and merion stand out.. Great experiences both of those courses. I also love the souths courses such as pinehurst.

The George Fazio course in Palmetto Dunes, Hilton Head Island SC

OR the Robert Trent Jones course in that same resort. Been going the HHI for 20 years.

not going to mention the name because its THAT FUCKING EXCLUSIVE. not really, i just dont remember the name of the course. its actually a mediocre public course on a tiny island off the coast of maine. we played barefoot, only carried like 5 clubs, and started at about 7 at night. the course itself was beautiful just because of its location, and had a lot of really fun but not too hard holes. plus since its on such a small island there are never any crowds or a need to be all gaudy and fancy. it was just a lot of fun.

Glasgow Hills in PEI. Planning on going back sometime next summer and do a golf trip and play as many courses there. They all seemed awesome.

Such a nice course! i live like 10 minutes from there. as for my favorite course i've played it would have to be Airway Medows. literally 3 miles from my house. second hole is amazing when your trying to land on the fairway between a huge woods and an active runway. Pretty sure its the only (public) golf course you can fly to by plane and play a round

Country Club of Fairfield. Voted best course in CT and is in Golf digest's top 50 classic courses in the USA. Definitely lucky my parents are members.

Either Bull Valley CC or McHenry CC. Played Bull Valley in the county am and got a hole in one and an eagle. McHenry because it was my home high school course and had a ton of good memories.

I haven't golfed much outside the midwest very much, but I play at Hazeltine National semi regularly with one of my friends who is a member. Its held 4 majors and the 2016 Ryder cup is gonna be played there.

In all seriousness though I have no problem with people disagreeing with me. That is what sparks learning on the subject. I'm also okay with people being religious, as long as they don't try to make other people religious.

Kapalua bay course, defiantly the best I've played but that was hella expensive. In van isle my favs are bear mountain and fairwinds.

I've been all over to courses in Idaho for tournaments, but I haven't ever really gotten to go anywhere big. My favorite though would have to be a course on a Navy base in San Diego on coronado island that was called Sea N Air (it was way sick because most of it was next to the ocean), or actually my home course as its right on the river and is beautiful/kept in pristine condition.
