Replying to Broken Fibula

So almost 7 weeks ago now i came down on the tramp funny and it caused a spiral fracture to the distal end of my fibula. I was no weight bearing for 5 weeks and now i am pretty much walking around normally, just with a walking cast. I am suppose to be going to momentum this week to ski, the doctor said i would be fine but i am still i tad skeptical. I do not want to re brake it. I have almost full range of motion back, and no pain aside form some muscle stiffness. Anyways do you guys think it will be alright to ski if I take it real easy? Have any of you guys broken your fibulas like I did, and if so, how long were you out till you were back skiing?
