Creepiest thing thats ever happened to you

so i was reading through that weird findings in the forest thread and i was reading lots of stories just about weird creepy things that had happened to people...
here ill start off with one that happened to my mom
so my mom was around 24 years old living with a friend in a little appartment one morning my mom and her friend went to an early morning workout that started at around 730 am so they got up went to the workout and came back, opened the door to see my moms photo torn apart and ever single photo of her placed around the room in a circle with a pair of underwear next to them it led a trail to the bathroom where in toothpaste on the mirror it said her name and little time for living left on the counter of her bathroom peices had been ripped out of a phone book to also make the words little time for living left. it looks like she had just escaped a murder that morning by going for the workout. she called the police and moved out of course. this is just one of the creepy stories that has happened to my family ill post more once i get some responses from you guys post away!

i was staying with my Grandpa in a town called Snowflake, AZ and he lived on a 500acre lot. In the middle of the night i went outside with my bro to go grab our bags from the car, and i saw this silhouette pacing back and forth down the fenceline. me and my brother stopped and looked at him (about 100 yards away but there was lots of natural light at night)
and he just stopped, looked at us. then stood there for a while. The creepy part is that my uncles nearest neighbors are miles away.

woke up in the middle of the night and saw a black mass with a human form standing over me. I have a bed with bars overhead that i sometimes hang clothes on, so i thought it was my verde jiberish sweatshirt. I closed my eyes when i realized i didnt have it hanging there. My eyes shot open, and as i became more and more awake, the figure floated away (still with a distinct figure) into the corner and was gone. I told my brother the next day about it and he said the same thing had happened a couple times to him in that room.

i let him live there now...

one time i had to fart really bad so i farted but it didn't feel right. i went into the bathroom and found out i had shit my pants a little. it wasn't a chunky shit, it was a very wet shit. it sucked

One time in high school I stayed the night at a friends house. The next day I got home and my dad was like "very funny!" ....I said "what?" ...he said "the tahoe!"...I was like "what are you talking about?"...

He said he knew it was me who tee-pee'd the Tahoe. I went outside and looked at my dad's Tahoe...looked fine. Opened the door and the entire inside of the car was TP'd-- toilet paper everywhere. There was a note on the seat that said "never leave your doors unlocked"

To this day he thinks it was me and that I'm denying it...I swear to GOD I never did that shit, so only I find it creepy. Everyone else thinks it was me.

In fourth grade my friend spent the night at my house. He swears to this day he saw an old lady walk through the room and open the door. To this day he has not crashed at my house.

Was doing camera work for a pilot episode for a paranormal cable show... we were in some hot springs in colorado.. anyways, we're sitting there and they're doing there thing with the instruments, and all of of a sudden they start going off and changing colors. So these guys start talking to "them". They ask for my LED flashlight, they turn it on, and set it on a rock, and told "them" to turn it off. The light flickered and went off. Then asked to turn it on, it flickered to on. I shit you not. They used it to ask yes or no questions. And would flicker on or to off.

About a month ago my parents, my roomers and I were awakened by the house alarm going off at around 3:30 in the morning. We couldn't figure out what had triggered the alarm but the alarm keypad said zone 3 on the display. We called the alarm company to find out that zone 3 is the window right above my bed, less than a foot from where my head is when I sleep. The window was locked shut and we found fresh bootprints under the window the next morning. Someone had tried to open my window, and when it opened a little, the alarm was triggered and they booked it. Scary stuff.

There was a bathroom connected to my room in my old house that I always kept shut because my roommates room was connected on the otherside. One night when he went back home for the weekend, I woke up in the middle of the night and the door was wide open. I got up and closed it thinking nothing of it. I woke up again EXACTLY 2 hours later and the same thing, door wide open. This happened 2 more times, and all were 2 hours apart. The door latches shut and everything and I can't really come up with an explanation for it.

One night my whole family is at a carnival about a half hr away, I decide not to go because I thought it would be boring. I get home from a run and start to make a ham and chesse sandwich when I heard footsteps comingn down the stairs in next room over. I get scared as shit and go into my room on first floor and my new puppy runs toward that area. First my dog is barking like crazy then I hear him squeal like he was kicked or attacked or whatver so I called the cops. They get there in like 2 minutes and find nothing wrong no break Iin, scariest part is there was a sign for a home alarm system on the inside of my front door, and my front door only locks from the inside.

I made a thread about it when it happened.


"The building I live in is 2 stories. Top floor is my home, bottom floor is a clothing company. There is only one door though and no door going up to the second floor.

I only left once today and it was while the business was still operating so the door was open when I came home. When they left, they should have made sure everything was locked.

So, I'm just about ready to go to bed. My phone was in the living room charging. I was in the bathroom. I heard someone come up the stairs so I went into my bedroom and locked the doors. They walked around, didn't test any of the doors, played the piano and then went back downstairs.

I freaked the fuck out. Didn't have a phone so I messaged people on facebook till I found someone to come and check stuff out. Would have used skype, but this is a new computer and I haven't installed it yet.

Anyway, long story short, they ended up setting off the alarm. The police came. I had a mini heart attack... Now I'm on NS cause I can't sleep.

YAY!"

Once I woke up at night laying on my back with my head hanging down backwards from the footside of my bed. My pillow and covers had also been moved to that side of the bed. I thought it was strange ass hell but was to tired to think of it and went to sleep again. The next morning my mom said that some doors had been opened during the night and stuff like that. Guess I´d been walking a bit and I do that alot. But still I thought it was scary ass hell at first

freshman year- i was sleeping in my dorm when i woke up with a funny feeling. I looked around my room when I saw a dark figure standing at the end of my bed. once my eyes cleared from the sleepies I realized the figure was a man and he was naked. I didnt know what to think at that point so I started to yell at him to leave. finally he was able to slur that he was looking for his bedroom, which happened to be two floors down. thought i was gonna get raped.

My family woke up to the sound of our front door swinging open, in the middle of the night. We couldn't figure out what would make it open, but we played it off as the wind and the next day we got a deadbolt installed on it.

i got followed down a bike path for a while one night when i was drunk. i should have confronted him, but i just ended up getting to a bus stop and hopping onto a bus home. of course he might not have actually been following me but i was mad creeped out because there were stretches of this path that went through the woods and shit and it was just me and him about 30 yards behind. a few times i'd turn around to take a peek he'd honestly be a little closer and just looking at me with a straight face. buhhhhhhh.

My HS girlfriend eventually started dating some other guy in college. They went home to visit her family and stayed at her house. She was a dancer and had her own dance room in the house right next to her bedroom. It was down a hallway that had a lot of Family pictures on the wall, Grandparents, cousins, etc.

Well he slept in the dance room and she was sleeping in her bedroom right next to it. In the middle of the night she woke up and wanted to go upstairs to sleep in her moms bed, it was more comfortable. So he wakes up in the morning and walks into her room to see if she was awake. Instead of finding her in the bed he saw a little girl. He did not set foot in the doorway just stared at her and she stared back. He said that her eyes locked his and he freaked out.

She was wearing older looking clothes, maybe from a couple decades ago. He also said that she did not seem to be there, like a ghost or spirit. He yelled, freaked out and looked around for someone. He found them upstairs and told my ex and her mom what happened.

They all walked downstairs to see if she was still there or wtf he was talking about. They opened the door and nothing was there. So they walked out of the room, still a little freaked out. And as they walked down the hallway with the family photos, he noticed something about one of the pictures. He saw those eyes, one of the pictures on the wall had the same eyes as the little girl.. It was her grandmother, and she had died a couple years ago around that time.

Freaked me the fuck out when she told me.

I found a hacksaw and some bones down by this river by my house, Scary thing is there is a house like 300 feet to the left of that and supposededley Ted Bundy hid there for a little while. It's down the road and in the woods from the Cotton Bottom in Salt Lake if any of you know where that is.

i was home alone and you know when the toilet gets low and its sometimes refills itself and it sounds like flushing well i though some robber was fucking using my toilet so i was lying in bed thinking "please don't come in here" over and over hahaha so sketchy.

i have a compound bow down stair in the basement and i was wondering if i should risk leaving my room. the bathroom was the next room to the left so if he was in there then i might have been fucked if i left. i sat there for like 5 hours before i finally went out at like 5am and turned on all the lights and searched everywhere for forced every and then i came to me.. hahaa

holy shit like 2 weeks ago the scariest thing happened to me.

so it was a decently windy night and i was sleeping with my windows open and sometimes the wind causes my door to open and shut. but anyway i was sleeping and in the middle of the night my door literally flies open and slams against my wall. i whipped my head over and just see a large man but it was all dark and shadowy. my heart was beating so fast i swore he heard it. he closed the door and i checked my phone and it was 4:35 am which is just some weird coincidence that i was born at 435 in the morning...
i have no idea who it was or what the hell he was doing, it freaked me the hell out

When I was younger I was jumping on the trampoline in my backyard which is surrounded by woods and isnt really near any major roads so its kind of off the beaten path. Anyways I heard some shit moving around in the woods and it sounded way too big to be an animal.... As it got closer and closer I got a glimpse of a middle aged man who was bald and wearing glasses walking maybe give or take 30 yards into the woods from my backyard. I got the fuck up and sprinted into my house and when I looked off of my deck to see if he was still there he was gone... I think I was around 12 at the time and I was the only one home. Never been that terrified in all my life up until this day.

I have a .22 now so I aint even scared.

i had a couple 4 lokos one night after my football game. then i fell asleep with 3 of my friends in my room. next thing i know my alarm is going off. i search all around for someone in the house. then like 15 minutes later i hear"seattle police is there anyone in this house"i guess the wind opened up my moms room door. (my mom was gone for the weekend) it was fucking scary cause i was drunk with fucking cops in my house. and the cops walked right next to my brothers vape and fifth. im not sure if it was the wind or a intruder.

So a few days ago I got home from a 3 week China/Taiwan trip, and I while in Taiwan, in our hotel on one of our first nights there, somewhere between midnight and 1 AM, my friends and I decided to explore the hotel, so we hop into the elevator and go to the top floor which is a ballroom/"Sky Lounge" as described on the elevator wall. When we arrived, it was the only room without lights on out of every floor in the hotel. All of the doors that we assumed opened up to the main room were locked shut and there was a faint green glow from one exit sign above a locked doorway and some creepy ominous humming from a source that we couldn't find. My friend snapped a picture and we hopped back in the elevator. The next morning at breakfast, we are talking about it and my friend Terry asks us "And how about that creepy green gargoyle-like dog think with the huge glowing eyes?" None of us (besides Terry) seemed to have seen it. Then he pulled out his camera and showed us the picture he took and, sure enough, there was a big, dark green, sharp toothed dog with giant, glowing, bright, white eyes. So we all agreed to go back that night. We did, and the humming was still there but none of us (even Terry) could find/see the dog sculpture.

so about 2 years ago, on halloween night, my friends parents had thrown him a little surprise birthday party at a restauraunt in town. afterwards we decided we wanted to get into some trouble, so we went over to Phillips Exeter Academy, a really ritzy elite private school, and started just fucking around just because the security there always chases you. anyways, we were just about to go into the football stadium because it is always monitored on cameras so the secuirty will be there if there is any sign of movement. right when i was about to go into the gate, i noticed a dark figure with a hood on in the middle of the field. we were all wtf so we started running back towards the open field, but the figure started chasing us. we ran out into the field and saw the figure moving through the trees down the trail towards us. we called our friend who was parked across the field and told him to turn his lights on so we could see it. as soon as there was any sign of light we saw it run off the trail and dart into the woods. let it be known this was no animal it was around 5 feet tall upright and walking. sketchy.

sparknotes we saw a sketchy phantom late at night in a football stadium. the ghosts of PEA stadiums past.
