BACHELORETTE PARTY THREADS? HOLLA!

This weekend is my bachelorette party in Vegas. I fly to L.A. tomorrow, and then drive over with my three best friends to spend the weekend in Vegas gettin' after it! 

I think they have stuff planned, but anyone else have any advice for "must dos" in vegas? I've been before but have spent most of my time gambling.

make sure to wear blatantly obvious bachelorette clothing and ALL DRINKS will be free. You become a magical creature and everyone just wants to contribute. It's really amazing.

May I suggest a drag show. Seriously.... one of the most things I have done in Vegas for a bachelorette party. We did a dinner show and it was AMAZING. Then we went and did drunken party things.

If you must wear heals, wear peep toes and tape your feet with medical tape anywhere that is covered.
I'm assuming since you are flying into LA, you are coming from a more humid area. Your shoes won't fit the same. So like I said, tape them. and on your heal, use a piece of mole skin to keep from getting blisters. Same for just on top of your toes. It will work wonders.

Otherwise you will be left with bloody feet cause the dryness and foot shrinkage tends to have an effect that everyone blames on the shoes.. it's the climate.

Ummmm thats all I can think of right now. All my college friends seem to be getting married... so i've been on a lot of vegas trips the last few years.

Never been to Vegas so I can't help there.
I have no idea how much time you will have in LA if any, but most people from out of town think LA is a completely different, yet enjoyable experience. Go see the freaks in Venice or enjoy Manhattan/Hermosa beach.
Of course the most important step is to get trashed so you don't remember all the dumb shit you do.

haha, will be in LA for tomorrow night, the fourth of july, the 5th, and then driving to Vegas on the 6th. So a little time in LA. My maid of honor lives in santa monica-- She mentioned some fun plans for the 4th--  some beach party-- but I'll ask about Hermosa beach. I want to get my shop on on rodeo drive.

Check out stratosphere sky bar at night.
Get a foot massage from a street vendor
check out mandalay bay's bathrooms
go to downtown vegas at night
in n out burger
if your into outdoors stuff check out redrock canyon

Don'ts:
Do not take any escort cards from the people on corners
Do not eat at casino food courts (super pricey)

nice room. when i went to vegas i stayed at the mandalay bay i got a room for like $55 a night. And then i got comped a 5 star suite at The Hotel (which is part of mandalay bay.)

Vegas is epic we go all the time. It's only a 12 hour drive from colorado.

So some of tips I've learned is to get on club list before hand! I know your with a bunch of girls but sometimes the lines get really long. and if your on the list you walk to the front say who you are, and your in with no cover. Some times they can hook you up with free bottle service too. Its easy to get a hold of promoters too (they get you on the list), just google the club name with promoter and a list of names and numbers/facebooks/twitters will pop up.

Next my favorite clubs were:

XS (encore)
Marquee (cosmopolitan)
Ghostbar/playboy club (palms)
Rehab (hard rock) pool party
Chateau (Paris)
Pure (Caesar)

Contradictory to what was said above I would avoid old downtown vegas it gets sketchy at night and is not nearly as nice as the new strip.

Also we also had a game who could collect the most escort cards. By the end of the weekend we filled a grocery bag full of them, and lets just say our friend who bailed last minute. He will be finding escort cards for the rest of the time he lives in his apartment :)

Also liquor stores are hard to find/expensive when your on the strip so since your driving pick up pregame materials before.

awesome, thanks so much. I will run that list of clubs past the girls, we will try to hit them all up. And yeah, I will take your advice on downtown-- it's just us girls so don't want to be in a sketchy place.

And will definitely take note to stock up on liquor before the drive over.

Pretty sure your friend would direct you anyway...

But Rodeo Drive is a waste of time. It's cool to drive through, but not worth any effort. Go to Robertson BLVD. It's the Rodeo Drive for the under 50 crowd. If you want more funky type stuff, to to Melrose (where the greatest sneaker shop in existence is). Please check out the 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica, great normal price shopping and the street performers are uber fun.

Celebrated 'Murica's birthday yesterday. Had too good of a time.

We rode our bikes from my friends house to a party, which took us along the boardwalk, past the santa monica pier, past Venice beach-- then partied like rockstars until it was late enough for fireworks-- then rode our bikes to another friends house...then we went back home and there's a dive bar by my friends house I wanted to go to, but no one else wanted to go, so I went by myself. Played pool-- I think had a good time. But I did throw up on my friends sofa.

All in all, it's been a good trip so far.
