covered their jib setup in a tarp or plastic sheet and launched into a kiddie pool, cause i'm looking at mine and thinking that would be awesome.

close, i feel like if you cover it in a tarp and laid down you would get way more speed.....ill try it out soon and video tape results

I'm in a bad mood and nothing funny is happening on NS.

I'm about to resort to watching the turtle get off again.

(bad mood caused by reading stuff about my town filing bankruptcy today combine with being sued by LA for water rights and then the whole June Mountain closing thing -- just wish I wasn't so far from home. Already watched 2 hours of ski videos, helped for about 10 minutes)

Yeah, Mammoth Lakes (the town) filed bankruptcy today, the town is also being Sued by LA, and the Mountain announced a few days ago that June is closed for at least this year.

Mammoth is not doing so hot. Just wish I were there so I could be more proactive. Even got invited to go and speak at the town hall meeting but can't. Stoked I'm on a 4 month vacation, but sad I can't be at home helping with this stuff.
