Cleaning your sensors.

Wet? Dry? Some crazy hybrid of both? Neither?

What's your method for cleaning your sensor? Tips? Tricks? Cheap methods?

When I had a shit ton of dust on my sensor, I used a lens cloth and a little air pump. Most people would freak the fuck out and think I'm an idiot for that but it worked for me.

Obviously it's not perfect, but it gets rid of almost all dust/random shit

i usually blow a raspberry into mine and its just the right amount of spittle in there and then i wipe with my finger... Really though i use one of the air blow gizmos and it usually works, dust spots are the worst

Gotta love photography, you can photoshop dust out in a matter of seconds. As for cleaning, I just use a blower, anything more an I take it to my local shop, $50 and it looks brand new.

Use a blower and not a can of compressed air. Cans of compressed air sometimes spit out some nasty liquid. I have a little lens cleaning blower with brush attached.

Sometimes air is not enough to get rid of the dirt. There are special sensor cleaning kits with a cleaning liquid and a special rubber (?) brush. To be honest, last time I just used some lens cleaning liquid and optic paper I had lying around.

I would just be very careful if there is sand inside, to not scratch the sensor screen.

You can use compressed air cans for sure... just get ones with the anti-siphon tubes in them (basically pipes that don't allow liquid to reach the nozzle, much less exit it). They aren't very much money, and a few shots of that stuff will usually get rid of any/all dust.

That said, if you have something like a Nikon 7000 which has the problem of allowing oil to splash onto the sensor during shutter actuations... You might want to invest in some detergent based sensor cleaning solution (or just drop 50$ on a photo pro to clean it for you).

I use a Rocket Blower which gets the job done. I also have a lens pen to brush out some of the dust if necessary, which isn't often. I never strugle with dust really. Just blow your camera's sensor frequently (and upside down).
