Using a Natural Hill as a Drop-In.

I have numerous small hills followed by flat in my yard, and I was wondering what is the best way to make a drop in on a hill rather than one constructed from wood.

use the hills, but if the hill isn't that big, then just put a wooden ramp at the top of the hill for an extra boost.

But should I put plywood down then turf on top of that, or construction fence, I just don't want the turf to crinkle.

I layer down turf and nailed it to the plywood on the edges then put some construction fencing on top of that. It works well and I have enough speed to easily do a 20 foot rail

hmm im considering doing this. whats the point of putting orange fencing overtop of turf tho

do u have to put the fencing over top the turf or can u just use orange fencing on wood

you could put it straight on the wood, but you wouldnt be able to turn. with the turf under it you get a better surface to ski on

You can use only construction fencing for the drop but your going to want turf on the tranny to get grip for spinning on. I would recommend turfing your entire drop tho

mines on a natural hill i layed down pallets then put the turf on top of that its easy and the pallets are free

i definitely would have used pallets over plywood but I couldn't find any free pallets
