Tell me what you guys think, i havent got to film too much with the canon eos rebel t3 but theres a lot of fotty filmed with it in the video.

This past year, i have been making skiing films, and everytime it got funner and funner to film, so here is all of my best footage filmed on location at Upper Saranac Lake NY, Snowmass CO, Silverton CO.

This edit is designed to make you feel good and get stoked for 9 minuets of how beautiful this planet we live on and how great the glorious sport of skiing is.

this is just my opinion but I really hate the gopro mic and I hate hearing it in edits because the sound is so weird.. I like the footage though looks good

a videography reel should be 1:30 max 2:30. ;) btw you should cut clips with the ficheye vignetting imo ;)

Theoretically that would be better, but I know there's no way I'll be able to do that in mine, haha.

There were just too many awesome moments that I want to share in a showreel.

A reel isn't suppose to show everything amazing that happened throughout the season and what not. It is to show employers or whoever it maybe a peak at your work then if they like it they will want to see all your work and what not.

Yep, they will have their cursor on the playhead the entire time, and maybe take no more than 20 seconds to actually review your footage.

If you are making the reel with minimal intent to attract potential clients, by all means, there is no reason to impose length restrictions.

I think that the majority of kids on here are making "reels" as a piece of work compiled from their shining moments to show friends, family, a couple people on the internet and most importantly themselves, where they are as a filmmaker. What they've accomplished in the past year or so and what kind of work they're going to need to do next year to be the filmmaker they want to be.

Your talking about something a little more refined and tidy, a filmmakers resume for the top dog clients that are filtering through tons of incredible artists.

Most of the people that will get hired based on their reels on here are getting work from small clients that know they can get sufficient content from for a decent price.

Don't worry about things like this so much.
