Depends on the year the 11-12 as far as I am aware have no metal in, the 10-11 I do believe have metal in. I have inserted a link so you can see what the 10-11 Griffons look like. I am currently using Jesters and Barons, and I am somewhat dissapointed with both. I find that on both models the heel piece slides back on the rail causing me to pre-release unless I pay constant attention to the heel piece, I have spoken to others and know that I am not alone.
