I come across a lot of music, I've always wanted a blog but I don't want to go to all the trouble to set one up, so I figured I would just make a thread in M&A. All the Genres will be listed above the music with a jpeg thing, please no genre battles, its such an opinionated thing these days. I will try to include a DL link wherever I can. Feel free to post anything you fancy.
First off a huge newish track off Krewella's most recent EP; play hard. For those of you who don't know them, Krewella is an EDM group from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2007. The group consists of Jahan Yousaf, Yasmine Yousaf, and Rainman. They got the whole Skrillex/Knife Party type thing going on with the heavy sounds and seemingly sporadic samples. Oh, and their fucking hot. If you dig this sound you will also want to check out "Krewella - Killin' It" and "Adventure Club ft. Krewella - Rise & Fall"
Play hard Tracklist:
01. Play Hard (4:26)
02. Killin’ It (3:27)
03. Can’t Control Myself (3:39)
04. Alive (4:50)
05. One Minute (4:13)
06. Feel Me (3:16)
Next off some Radical something, if everyone was like these people, the world would be a hell of a place; grossly under productive, but never the less sick.
Alright, personally I would put this under trance, but I don't really feel like making another little banner thing. This is from an artiest name "Audien" I'm not going to lie an pretend I know anything about this person, because I don't. Feel free to share.
Alright, I don't know what genre to put this in... so I'll just leave it at dubstep. For those of you who have never heard of them, The M Machine is an EDM group from San Francisco, its a trio of Ben Swardlick, Eric Luttrell and Andy Coenen. They released their first EP Metropolis Pt. I on Skrillex's label OWSLA. This one's got a kinda indie feel to it with some cool vocals.
Project 46!! These dude's have been dropping some serious progressive stuff lately, defiantly sitting up there for this type of music, very smooth, very straight ahead. "Project 46 is the genius pairing of Thomas Shaw and Ryan Henderson. Thomas lives in Vancouver, B.C. and Ryan lives in Waterloo, Ont. YES! You read that right! They don’t live in the same city!" - blueprintevents. These dude's do most of there work over Skype, pretty rad... Unfortunately NS will not let me embed, but if you follow the link you will be able to stream/DL from there.
Alright time for some glitchhoppy goodness. 2:13 this shit starts to get sick. For those of you who don't know Kraddy was formerly part of the one and only Glitch Mob (currently consisting of Boretta, edIT & Ooah) "Glitch is a term used to describe a style of electronic music that emerged in the mid to late 1990s. It has been described as a genre that adheres to an "aesthetic of failure," where the deliberate use of glitch based audio media, and other sonic artifacts, is a central concern." - Wikipedia. These days typically they don't use hardware to produce, most of there stuff is all done using software, but the sound still remains true as anything. The Glitch continues.
Some very fresh underground rap, this dude always seems to take music that isn't exactly something I would normally listen to and make it super sick. Sub to Timeflies on youtube and receive updates every Tuesday.
Alright I'm putting the house banner up because I don't really have one for this aha, in all honesty I have not the slightest shit wtf this is. If I had to guess I would peg it at trap moombahton? Enough genre talk, "Ephixa is a new, uprising Dubstep artist. Born as James Leusink on April 13, 1990 in Ontario, Canada."
Alright red alert holy fucking big room house summer track coming at you right now, the full version just got dropped yesterday and already has 80k view and mark my words, its going to get WAY BIGGER. I would not be surprised if this turned into the summer anthem of 2012. Sorry for the mega enthusiasm but the stoke meters get kicked into high gear for me when something like this comes out.
