I wore a pair for the last half of the season. They would not be my go to pant if there is going to be wet snow. durability is standard, they have a reinforced inner ring on the pant cuff. They also have toggles in the pocket to keep your pants from dragging in the parking lot. And they fit true to size.
Seeing as you are in Washington, I would definitely save up for something a little more waterproof.
I wear the Fargo pant now, and wore the Flow pant for several seasons before. They do get damp in really wet snow, but they work quite well for me at Kicking Horse. I don't walk on my cuffs or ski park, so my pant legs don't get cut up much.
The only thing I don't like about them is that they no longer have zippered back pockets, where I like to carry my wallet. NBD, I just carry it in one of the cargo pockets now.
Oh, and the cords to pull up the back of your cuffs so you don't walk on them is a great idea.
FWIW, I'm 5"11, and I wear a large. They're baggy enough for me, but I'm old and I wear my pants on my waist.
