Quick Question

Is my drop in going to give me to much speed? It is 8 feet tall, and the longer 2x8 is 12 feet long. I will be putting normal turf on it, and am planning on a smooth transition into a ~15 inch high lip into a 10 foot rail.

looks fine to me. Even if you do have too much speed it looks like you have room to make an extra long flat run in before the lip

not def not, if your trransition isn't that smooth you won't get too much speed, you might lose speed cuz it seems pretty tight, but over that's gonna be a sick drop in in my opinion

not very much. at my loses, its $0.53 per square foot. they're sold in 6 foot rolls, so you only need 9 feet, then cut it in half. thats what i did, it worked fine. just ask whoever's cutting it to go a few inches over just in case, or you can get an extra foot. should run you about 30 bucks

18x3=54 sq ft

I was just at my Home Depot today and they had 39 cent/sq ft and 59 cent/sq ft. Both work fine with soap and water, obviously the 59 cent is a bit higher quality, but regardless the most your gunna spend is $30 (18x3x.59) plus tax.

No tax, fuck yeah oregon. I think i'll go for the .39 version anyway, my drop in is plenty steep as it is.
