Hey all,
I decided to go with the ON3P FR's however I still have two questions regarding it. I am 5'11 and 170 Ibs, so should I get a size of 176 or 181 cm? I like doing everything in the park, small to big booters and grinding all sorts of rails. Also, with bindings, should I go with the Salomon STH 14 Driver or the Rossi FKS 14? Ive had the FKS 14 in the past and it was just ok ( I liked it however it didnt feel like other bindings I have tried in the past. I just feel like they don't ever release and I have fallen in positions that I feel they should come off). Would the STH's be better in general? Staying on and releasing when you fall, feel stable, etc. Thanks!

181 for sure!
They don't even "feel" big when you ride them.
I wish the 186 was an option last time around...

I really like fks, I used them on my hellbents all season. However, I had sth 14 drivers on my ar6s all season as well and while they are both great bindings, the sth are a lot less fussy and annoying. The sth have a lot higher tolerance for ice on the bottom of your boots, are much easier to click in and out of, are lighter, allow for adjustment between boot sizes, have removable brakes, and are just as durable in my experience. I loved having fks on big mountain skis, but I feel like they would just be a huge pain in the ass if you like to hike rails. This season I'll be on some pipe cleaners with deadbolts which are also pretty burly (if you get the 15 or 18 din version), as well as being easy like the sth. Sparknotes: both fks and sth drivers are great bindings. Fks have higher elasticity/retention, sth are a lot easier to use/work on. For park skis go sth. For pow skis, take your pick.
