The Question Is It Worth It for Me.?

I am an East Coast rider. I am an very aggressive skier, I ski 80% Park but not with these skis..
I am Just in on The News that my family is buying a vacation house out west and i need a Pow ski that can get it done in Pow and still tear up the Groomers.. But i will still live in the East Coast so it will be in use here aswell.
I have been saving for a while and am With holding alot of money right now and i have I really want a Great pow ski that is going to Last me for a Couple Years..

I am 6'0 - 180 LBS

Please Help Me out..

I also will need a Set Of Bindings.
Currently Riding on Tyrolia Peak 14. And I have heard nothing bad about the FKS Series, So let me know on that aswell.

Rocker2=JJ=Bent Chetler.
From all the reviews I've read, it's a perfectly capable all mountain pow ski.

You might have to do some digging around in here, but:

I understand Salomon is making a bunch of different shapes as well for 2013. Check those out:

rocker2 is a dope pow, but at 180lbs I preferred the caylors. Not only does the caylor perform ridiculously in a variety but it also has bomber durability. I spent around 80 days on the caylor and I have one core shot, although if I was on any other ski I woould have had a lot more. For a short review of the caylors, check the blog quoted in my sig,there is also a review of next season's rocker2 122 on there but that has already been linked to above. If you're looking for a longer review of the caylors blister has a really comprehensive one.

I will Take the Caylors in too consideration because ive heard nothing bad about ON3P Skis..
I was looking at Jmos earlier in the year aswell

For out west they should be fine. What other skis do you have that you use already?
As for bindings, do you mean the Tyrolia Peak 12 or 15? because I'm fairly certain there is no 14. I have never hear anything bad about the head peak/deadbolt/mojo series. FKS toes(assuming you're going with the 140) do feel a little weak, but honestly they should hold up fine. I own a pair of each, but they are still waiting to be ridden so I can't give you any completely backed up feedback.

check out the rossi scimitar, you can find them for around $300 right now and it is the best EC all around ski.

This. There's a thread on binders for pow skis and I believe the fks' have a skinny mount pattern and are easier to tear out

If you're looking at the 122 waisted Rocker2, get this years. Nothing changed, so there's no reason to wait.

i love my fks, had them on all my park/pow skis

but they brakes are a fucking bitch with they break

driver series are the way to go IMO

FKS bindings are great, but when you loose a ski in deeper snow or are trying to get them on on anything but relatively flat ground they are a pain in the ass.

The rocker two is unchanged next season apart from graphics, so this years will be the same for less money.

There a great pow ski, not the most of a charger, but super playfull, light and they still carve hard.

Binding wise I have the STH 16 on mine, 2 seasons now and know issues. The 14 is just as good, it just has a little less metal in the toe piece.

Next year its called the Rocker 122 btw but as I say get this seasons there the same.

I may be selling mine soon, if you would be interested.

The Rocker 108 is awsome, im getting those as my all mountain ski next year.

The 122 is better as a pure pow ski, but the 108 rips all over teh mounatin and can even be fun in the park.
