Don't send her any of these for a while: "haha" or "!" or this ":)" Remove all positive emotions from your messages and she'll start flipping. THEN she really won't stop thinking of you. In fact it'll make her notice you more. That post early on that told you she's checking to make sure she's still holding the reins? That is exactly what this sounds like man she's looking to see if she can still get a response from you- and you bit. Thats how she knows its "all still OK". Well my brother, freind-zoning is never OK. Stop being so enthusiastic and if she asks whats up next time you see her just throw all your chips in and tell her how let down you are because she's a great gal and you wanted something to happen and you don;t know if you're willing to wait around as her friend. If she's worth it she'll see you as an independant force which she might risk losing. And women want what they can't have.
