Replying to Alzheimer's, not allowed to even vote?

i was seeing where they are trying to determine if people with alzheimers have the right to vote.

when the daughter of a alzheimers patient asked her mom if she knew how the president was elected she said...

'he is voted in, i think... is that right?'

and the patiend with alzheimers for the most part got it right but it took a second.

then the daughter asked her mom if she knew how they determined who won... alzheimers patient said...

ummm... and just sat their thinking about it for 3-5 min and then fell back asleep.

the patient with alzheimers had some clue as to how the president was brought into office yet she didnt even know how we determined who won.

now my feeling is if your alive you should be able to vote. its your right wether or not your sick with alzheimers or not. ar we going to set an age at when ur to old to vote?

we already have laws restricting people that are insane, mental or idiotic... yes they actually say IDIOTIC in the law... in 13 states, ohio where i live being a state which if ur insane or idiotic you CAN NOT vote. so their are already some restrictions to the people who can and cant vote.

whats everyone else believe when it comes to people with alzheimers desiese voting?
