So, I was just on Stumbleupon and found a way to make a few quick dollars. all you smarty patootie guys have probably already heard of this, so tell me how much you can make off of it.

So, you start a blog at blogger, or weebly, or wordpress or something. then fill out a bunch of quick entries all on the same general subject. then, you go to google adsense and get ads for your site. then, have 20 or so of your friends click on the ads on your blog and you can make 100 or so bucks reaaly fast.


anybody else try this? I need money for next season, but all of my jobs have kinda fallen through. I might try this..

we should get a cult where we get 20 people and all click each others stuff and all profit in small amounts of time, although i think u mite have to buy stuff from the add and then u get a percentage of the sale, not sure but idk

It doesnt work because google adsense will see that the advertisements are being clicked on by the same ip address and your account will get banned before you can even make any money

Fellow NS'ers click the links, not the creator of the blog. So you can make a blog in Maine, and an NS'er could click the link in Minnesota.

They do.

And I've done this adsense thing before, and the most important advice I have is to not make it obvious. This means don't click on someone else's ads more than like 3-5 times per day and make sure to space those clicks with an hour or more. It's ridiculously easy to be caught when an employee from Google is scrolling through the logs and sees some guy clicked this other guy's ads x amount of times. But, this could work if you get enough people because then you have numerous people clicking on your ads without causing Google to get as suspicious (they might suspect something when they catch on to the day-to-day pattern between the same users clicking on each other's ads). Sorry to give your hopes up, but it still can be done.

Oh yeah, and have access to your S.S. number because you'll need that when "cashing in".

Yeah, the guy said it was technically illegal. so, I'm NOT asking you guys to specifically click on the advertisements next to my blog. Just check the actual blog out. but, If one of said ads catches your eye, feel free to click on it.. ;)

Actually, it was pretty easy. You can make one with Blogger.com in about two minutes. You can even sign in with your google account. Then, blogger, has a tab labelled "Earnings" then you enable Adsense. Adsense is a google company, and will just mail your checks to you..

Word. Im real good with computers, studying to be computer engineer after the qc strike/claim and being the lazy pothead bum that I am, tried every fucking way to make real cash out of this box we call the internet. From mining bitcoins to blogging, I've figured the whole thing up.

Friend had an adsense account, someone he didn't know clicked on a single ad a ton of times and his adsense account got banned. Google isn't that dumb.

Let me teach you folks about analytics:
Not only do these ads analyze your blog for subject and post relevant ads on it, but they track who is clicking on the ads to report back to the companies paying for the ad space! Well man, you might ask, won't they see 10-20 kids IP addresses showing up a couple of times every day? You're damn right they will! They've heard about this since some bozo, like yourselves, thought it up and decided to tell the whole fucking world about it. So you might make about 40-50 in a week, only to have google's super-human computers pick up what is going on, set off a red flag, and put a freeze on your adsense account.

My new blog is about skateboarding and skiing, and they put an ad for cat chow about it. Also, I want to limit it, so at most everyone will click on separate ads twice, then forget about said blog. If I can get people to do this, I can make a little more than what you are thinking. but maybe your right. that still 50 bucks in my wallet, I wasn't expecting very much more.
