Its still there. I think its mother like left it because on the first few days the thing cant walk, so the mom leaves it for a day or two, so the thing doesnt get snatched by a coyote. its so fucking coot :)

i used to know a guy who raised an abandoned deer. it was the coolest thing ever. he made it special boots so it wouldnt slip on the tiles, the n when it got to big he brought it to a small zoo. the deer grew up around people so it was super friendly, it was like a friendly cat

Some people around the corner from my house did this too. The deer had been hit by a car and they nursed it back to health with the intention of realesing it but it got too domesticated in the time it spent with them and could not be released. The guy that helped it was in and out of court for a while, and their was a huge discusion over what should be done with it. OP, i would bring it some water, maybe a bit off food but othed

if you're going to do this, you might as well kill it yourself and have some of the best meat you've ever had. when fish and game gets a small durr that cant survive on its own, they kill and donate it to a local homeless shelter.
wait 4-5 days for the mom to come back, if it dies, google how to gut a deer and where to find the best meat, especially the backstrap.
