Dispensaries are the new Starbucks

I live in Seattle and I have been noticing a lot of cannabis dispensaries popping up. One every two blocks or so and I have 4 within 2 minutes of my house. I was wondering if you guys have been noticing the same thing. The thing is 3 of those dispensaries just came in this year and if keep driving down the road you will run into even more.

I think its a sign that it will be legalized soon since so many people smoke and its on the ballot this year. Stoners need to get out and vote so I can smoke bowls at campsites, and with friends with out getting my shit confiscated by park rangers or the police.

south bay area is kind of like that. Where all the industrial areas are, thats where the dispensaries are.

I hope they keep coming so it keeps getting closer to legalization! But there are only a few in my town and they must be making tons cause the people I know with their cards get hit up for QPs non stop

My thoughts are;

That if anything does happen with legalization, then the market is going to get flooded. Prices are going to drop, which is great for buyers, but a lot of those mom and pop dispensaries are going to die. Once the market has stabilized, a rich white man will build nice, state of the art, convenient locations to buy from and with efficient business practices and the capital to market his business effectively, he will drive out the rest of the competition and get richer in the process.

theres already a show on tv or was on tv about some dude who had a mega company of dispensaries and was loaded beyond belief and it was all about the dangers of his business and what not.

i live in the suburbs of seattle and its ridiculous. all my friends parents are coming out and starting to toke with us. its turning into a alcohol like substance. and alcohol is turning into the easiest shit to get since liquor is in grocery stores now.

Haha where in Washington have you ever had a park ranger take your weed? they don't give a shit as long as the smoke isn't being pumped into a girl scouts camp out. I have talked to rangers in eastern WA while smoking a j and they couldnt care less.

Its is so prime. So many parents who used to smoke are smoking again. I have smoked bowls with my friends dad a handful of times and he just started to smoke again and has a green card. My friend who is 18 just got a fake ID. After senior project panels  he went into the grocery store and bought alcohol no problem and they didn't even card him because he was wearing a suit.

Generally I thought they were chill until I ran into a stern one at mt rainier who definitely gave a shit when he saw we were boxing our tent and got a complaint about it from a family next to our camp site. It wasn't a big deal since all he did was take some of my weed. Greedy bastard probably smoked it.

haha well...probably shouldnt have smoked right next to a family, or be somewhere more secluded (Eastern WA) but I'm sure he just kept it for himself. I rode up on some FS workers blowin dro at my local trails the other day. They were super worried until I just laughed at them and offered to load a bowl

Haha. Its the funniest shit when you come upon some one smoking unexpectedly. They always trip out. I was skiing in these dense trees trying to find a smoke spot and I came upon a guy sparking a bowl once he saw me he shoved it in his pocket hella quick and acted like he wasn't doing anything.

In CO most do it by the book to keep it  legit. This is a great alternative medication for patients who need it from other pain meds with multiple side effects..

The county I live in, in Colorado (Clear Creek), has 2 Starbucks and 6 Dispensaries. They are very abundant now.

ok, i don't doubt that most of the shops are by the book. obviously a lot of the people on the grow side though are supplying the black market. i wonder what the percentage is? i mean, the percentage of mexican/columbian bricks seem to have fallen through the floor over the course of the last 10 years...

Book schmook. Who smokes that Mexican crap anyway.. it was legal the free market would take care of that garbage. Who would smoke that if danks were reasonably priced ya know. I don't really care that much about people growing illegally it's not dangerous like a meth lab or something though obviously cartels and shit are another story..
