What kind of a gun do you own?

Looking into purchasing a gun and have narrowed it down to the Rugar 10/.22:

If you own one, post it up and share what you like/dislike about it, what kind of game you shoot, etc. Any further advice on cheaper alternatives or anything good for beginners as far as semi autos go would also be greatly appreciated.

I'm probably gonna buy an ak-47 in the spring when I get my taxes back but one that shoots a .223 and after that I'll probably buy a 12 gauge. I fucking love guns

I'm looking to get my license next September, but while we're at it, anybody know of any good C7 replica rifles (Canadian Forces version of the Colt M4, co any M4 replicas would do too)?

i just started shooting again this year after a falling out. all the guns i have were passed on to me from my grandpa when he passed away 6years ago. i have an Ithaca model 37 20gauge with a deerslayer smooth bore barrel w/scope and bird shot barrel. absolutely love this gun, fits me really well and a real straight shot. 1950's Winchester 30-30. actually shot it for the first time a couple weeks ago which was pretty cool seeing as the last person to shoot it was my grandpa. a single shot bolt action .22 and a 15 shot .22 both of which i cant remember off the top of my head the make. my uncle gave me is .45cal muzzleloader a couple years ago. havent put many rounds through it but overall i enjoy shooting it. shot a friends .223 ar15 last week and really enjoyed it. he had it pretty well decked out with muzzle brake, grip, tactical light, laser, red dot, and 3x scope. wouldnt mind picking up something like that in the near future. use to hunt a lot with my uncle but just lost interest overall. not sure if ill start again, mainly just shoot for sport at the moment.

I know this kid who thought it would be a good idea to turn one of those into a flamethrower. He ended up tying a rag around the nozzle, drenched it in oil, and filled it up with gas haha.

3 Arisaka's including one with the emporers stamp still on it- valued over $2500


he bought all of those guns and restored them with the exception of all the Airsakas he got from my grandpa.


Since he is a gunner in a LAV recon platoon in the marines he gets to shoot

I have a Winchester Model 190 that was given to me by my grandpa. I really like it. Its a fun gun to go out shooting with.

The ruger 10/22 is an awesome first fun gun to mess around with. The cool thing about it is that you can buy all kinds of accessories for it, like body kits, banana magazines, barrels, etc.

I have a Winchester 22 wildcat I love it, and also 1 ar-15, along with 4 shot guns. and for hand guns 1 9mm, 1 .22, and 2 .45's. there is no going wrong with a 10-22

on a 22? not needed, you probably wont be shooting more then 50 yards.


I have a sieko .22 that I absolutely love, one of the rarer .22's out there since it was only made for a few years. I have a cheaper end scope on it since I do not shoot it that much and not very far distances.



I have about 17 various rifles/shotguns, in my house mostly hunting guns that my dad bought or inherited. 3 pistols, a berretta .22, S&W .357, and A S&W .22 magnum.


favorite guns are my Thompson contender in 7.30 waters. and Thompson encore .50 cal inline muzzle loader by far the most fun gun to hunt with.
