Likin the looks of LDC this year. simple, nothin too fancy. i'll be pickin up a suit in september or whenever they start shipping. Which by the way is far superior to when saga ships, just sayin
I am getting the Khaki for sure. I like the small black pocket accent and on the LD. I wonder what the new tech jackets are like. Thats a path none of these small companies are pursuing
first i gotta say, everything looks fucking dope, but i have a couple of questions about a few things
first what is the "3d articulated arms" are the sleeves a softshell fabirc or something or am i missing something
second, whats the pricing going to be on the eagle and alpine eagle/ what will the fit be like, traditional LD fit or a new more alpinist fit?
third regarding the regular eagle/alpine eagle difference, is the fabric on the regular eagle significantly different than the alpine besides it being 5000 wpr less
and lastly are a 3l pant coming in the future and if so would they possibly be a bib pant
also i just wanna say that i really dig the direction you guys are going in, taking a more park oriented company and dipping into really tech outerwear is real dope, especially if the fitting on the new jackets is what im hoping its gonna be
3D Articulated arms: This is a new 4-panel pattern for an articulated sleeve. "3D" is a marketing term, basically this feature makes the jacket substantially more comfortable. The sleeve fabric is the same as the body fabric
Eagle Series will have a slim, longer fit. Definitely more fitted than pieces we have done in the past but not a true alpine fit either.
Alpine Eagle differences: Basically we found the two fabrics and couldn't decide which one to go with so we chose both. The black has a brushed tricot liner and burly, but softer shell fabric. The orange has a woven poly scrim liner and a bit of a stiffer shell fabric. Both fabrics have an absolutely amazing DWR and the performance differences are negligible on hill. Both perform on par with many Arcteryx and Patagonia pieces i have used. They are absolutely amazing.
There very well could be a 3L pant in the future and it would definitely have a bib, no solid plans for next fall yet though!
btw anybody know zipper length of XL wolfgang or previous years jackets? also if anybody knows the pant length for the XL that would help as well. thanks
