I've been listening to a ton of current players right now (ie. Joshua Redman, Aaron Parks, Branford Marsalis, etc.) Robert Glasper kills it with his trio. Not a fan of his Robert Glasper Experiment with the lame vocoder, but he slays with Derrick Hodge on bass and Chris Dave on drums. Big hip-hop influence in his music.
