IQ tests have to be proven to be the only evaluation technique that is at least somewhat positively correlated with the amount of qualified contributions an employee will make towards a company. all those horseshit assessment centers and interviews fail way more often.

source: human resources course in university, not really feeling like digging the exact book up.

after you take it, skip through all of the ads by clicking "no, thanks" at the bottom. I scored significantly higher on this one, so who knows how accurate they are-- but it's kind of fun.

average is 100.

the average everyone will be reporting (despite the accuracy of the test) is probably 115.


i have taken really good free online ones, that take like an hour or so, as well as shorter ones and a 3 hour thing at the military testing. so i would agree with the rotating dinosaur^^, forgot his name, they have to be around an hour to be somewhat reliable.

next thing is that some tests lay the focus on this or that aspect (memory, visualisation, logic, math, language proficiency,...) and some on other areas, so you will obviously get different results. but go take 2-3 really long ones on respectable internet sites and the average of that should be close to your "real" IQ (if there is even such a thing).

shit i got a 106, but i was doing it while cooking breakfast, ill do it again later. i got a 135 on a real iq test so ill stick with that.

do it, but answer all false. since about 3/4 of them are true.

and the reason you got average with about 3/4 true is because you would have answered them all very quickly, and speed plays a huge factor in the results. so do it again, answer all false, and leave it open for 15 minutes before submitting.

IQ doesnt test intelligence, it tests potential. The absolute ABILITY you COULD have. I was in a advanced schooling system called "Ables" from 1-8 grade (its an acronym i just dont remember what it stands for). To get in, i had to take a series of tests, the SAT which tested actual knowledge, a IQ test which was done over a series of 4 hours with a psychiatric expert, and a few others testing other states of logic, math, and problem solving skills (logic and problem solving kind of go hand in hand). I never received my actual IQ results, I only know to get into the program you were in the +140-145 range (3 students from each school in the region COULD go, but not necessarily always had 3 that met the standards) My good friend until high school was in the program with me and he surpassed most every student, now in 11th grade hes in the standard classes and failing all. The point is, technically hes a "genius" but he is not using pushing himself, and therefore not getting any smarter.

Spark notes: High IQ doesnt mean you are automatically smart.

Ables funding was cut 2-3 years ago.
