Fuck you. You'd probably one of those kids who has a high IQ so you act like you're above everyone else.
And also people with high IQ's are statistically way more likely to use illicit drugs.
though i vaguely remember buying some off of a norwegian in whistler named floyd, i'm damn near positive i've never smoked it. i remember being so nerved up in an interview, i was ready to say i had just to seem like i wasnt lying, haha.
I join the never have side. I'm 21. I go ski season to ski season and lived in BC. Never have and never will.
I think it's kind of sad the people who rip on OP for saying he hasn't. He didn't rip on anyone who has, yet apparently, being a HUGE rarity in this world makes him a 'pussy'? Get over yourselves. Good on you OP!
Smoking weed sometimes makes you realize things in life. There was a survey in France that proved that in recent history, left wingers are smokers/ or tolerate weed and that right wingers are more with alcohol.
Not saying that communists when all high but it's just a tendency.
I personally tolerate weed and smoke sometimes and I'm more socialist than liberal/kist.
It's really not even that good. I mean, I smoke and enjoy it, sometimes a lot, but it's not a huge deal. Most of the time, I feel sorta scummy and would rather be sober once I'm high, so I just go to sleep.
Then again, I'm a naturally paranoid, anxious guy in some ways, and weed only makes that worse. Sometimes it's got me tweaking so bad it's incredibly scary.
I'm more of a stimulant guy. Give me a gourd of yerba mate and a provigil and I'm all set. I like drugs that make me super smart, super strong, and an animal in bed. Weed does that for some people, but I'm not one of them.
wake and bake a stack of 12 chocolate chip pancakes, fresh ground coffee and having a fire later with my friends, first day of summer is good. tis the good life.
@people saying smoking is disgusting, it doesn't have to be smoked, browniesss
I think for a drug that is less harmful than alcohol the "try everything at least twice" rule applies(especially to weed cause the first time is rarely the best).
Your above 120 iq was really demonstrated by your awesome writing skills in this post. I'm getting vibes that you think your better than the people who party because you're so smart and clean. Here's the deal though: The people who introduced me to pot are all extremely intelligent. If we're going to have an iq battle, I know one of theirs is like 136 and mine is 129. Just because someone smokes doesn't mean they're stupid. Your arrogance based on your IQ is hilarious. Also, I'd expect someone who is so intelligent to have done some research about weed: there have been no conclusive results on the topic of marijuana causing respiratory issues (in fact, it acts as a bronchodilator and can be therapeutic to those with asthma) and even if there were negative effects on your lungs there are alternative methods of consumption. I don't really know what you're getting at with cognitive changes because obviously it changes your brain function while high, that's the point. On the topic of cops, if you're smart about it then it's very unlikely that you get caught.
that was kinda a rant and probably sounds angry but it wasn't really meant that way (well ok, a little bit angry)
That whole thing also depended on me deciphering that correctly, however I still have no idea what to make of "but I'm 15 and you really friends to drink and party".
I didn't read much of the what was posted in this thread, but I did read some of it. I know the NS main forums usually lack in any intellectual discussion, but I feel the need to tell you about my experience with weed and other psychedelic drugs.
When I was younger, I never thought for myself on the subject matter of drugs. I had a morbid fear of drugs from all the shit that society had told me about them. Our culture has made us extremely fearful and psychotic over the idea of drugs. What our society tries to do is condition us away from doing "drugs."
I have now been smoking weed since I was 16. I am currently 22 years old, I own a company in the ski industry, and I really hope that our generation can start seeing the world differently. What our culture has done is alienated us all from the knowledge and empowerment that lies within psychedelic plants. I have become aware of the power of psychedelic plants through my own experience with them.
I have always been somewhat of a narcissist in my own life. I always focus too much on myself and lack compassion towards others. For 16 years of my life, I alienated all people in my life because my focus was so strong on myself. I never had the realization of how shitty I was as a person. Then I meet weed.
The first thing I noticed with weed is how it made me really question the actions and thoughts of myself and other people. Weed made me super critical of things, a little too analytical. Because of this state of mind, I focused a lot on how I was really selfish and I how I needed to change myself. Weed kicked me in the ass and gave me a completely new perspective on myself and my role within the world. Weed was somewhat of an awakening, and every time I smoke, weed is an awakening. Weed is like a whole different personality from my sober personality. Its almost like there are two people in my body. Under the weed personality, I gain a whole new perspective on my own experience and what is occurring in the world. It find this so interesting just because being really high just once can really help you grow as a person. Sometimes all that is needed in life is a fresh, new perspective and that's exactly what drugs like Weed and Shrooms do.
I have been experimenting with shrooms a lot as of lately. The one thing I noticed about shrooms is that they put me in the same mindset as weed except that they amplify the mindset much more. shrooms take you out of your own little ego and introduce you to a whole new world and perspective. They teach you more about religion that your church as taught you your entire life. These drugs give you an experience that is rich in beauty. They are revitalizing and are HEALTHY for your mind. Its easy to get stuck in one little ego or one little mindset. For example, I was the narcissistic who only focused on himself and then I tried these plants. It was instant therapy since the drugs threw me on my ass and showed me exactly what I was, a selfish asshole!
You'll find in life that everyone is in their own little world in terms of how they sing things, how they act, how they are in terms of their personality. Everyone is operation their own little system of consciousness. If you abstain from trying these psychedelic plants, you will only know your sober-consciousness which may be a narcissistic, pessimistic, optimistic, who knows. But I think you'll find you can get trapped into one mindset as to how you see the world. These drugs expose you to the spectrum of consciousness that exists in the world and they dissolve the idea of yourself.
Now I am not suggesting you go out and do drugs just because of what I wrote. This is what I have learned from my own experience and I get a huge thrill out of seeing life from many perspectives. I definitely thinks its a shame if you go all the way to the grave without exploring altered states of mind. Its something one must experience during life just like sex, having a child, falling in love etc.
I think you should try it just once and see how you like it. Variety is the spice of life. I can tell you too from my own experience that these plants have been the biggest help in terms of seeing my life from multiple perspective. These drugs help you sort out how to be a better person and how to move into the future with decency. I am not condoning doing drugs all day 24/7. I think that getting really high on psychedelic drugs rarely is great therapy for yourself because it will either tell you that you are doing right in your life or you are doing wrong and how to change that.
Sorry for the long post, but I find this stuff really important. I really think the decision should be up to the individual. I think the only way the future can be bright is if we are all aware of our own consciousness and aware of how to be a better person.
Here's a great video on weed:
