I was hoping after they showed the oscillation model they would show what happens if you dropped the bottom of the slinky and kept the top fixed and as the bottom began to recoil back up towards the top you release the top. I assume it would look as if the bottom were still rising do to it's momentum and the top would fall and when the two compression waves met they would collide sending the slinky flipping. But I would really have liked to see that on the high FPS cam or in his model.
