mcchesnut did one at rodeo 12 in fuck, some could argue it was a flat but I'd call it a rodeo 12. Off the top of my head cant think of any rodeo 10's but I know i've seen them before
yeah i'd agree
i personally define a rodeo as being a spinning backflip so what i call a rodeo 7 would be called a back full by most people but w/e. you can still make 'fulls' looks sick and i've done a few rodeo 10s on tramp so they should be possible. i think they're mostly unseen because that much spinning with one flip always ends up pretty penciled
No man i couldn't disagree more oscars was for sure rodeo. All you have to do for rodeo is basically do a 180 and drop your shoulder back and set the spin which i was what he did really.
No. Just no. The rough definition of a rodeo is a flip with a spin. I saw rough because there's so much gray area between a rodeo and a flatspin. What Oscar did was either a flat 10 or a bio 10, but I'm leaning more towards the bio 10 because it just looks more bio to me.
Exactly. Take Symms' "rodeo 10" at the beginning of My Friend is a Pro for example. Any rodeo above 540 has to add the extra rotation after the flip is completed to keep it looking rodeo-esque, and it's really hard to separate the spin and the flip that much (unless you're Pollard). I can't even keep a rodeo 7 from turning into a misty 7.
didnt read much of the thread but wallisch does one in..some video. and i think sammy carlson does one near the end of whatever segment he had set to that mickey avalon song
