Hey NS, I don't think I have ever seen a thread like thisbut u know how you can instant message on Facebook, what if we could do that on here, like if somebody is online u can request to talk with them instantly. Wondering every bodies ideas. Thanks

at first i was against, but after remembering the success of tinychat and the semi annoying need to refresh for pm's, this might be good.

it will have to be done right though

having a setting to turn your chat off completely and/or being able to block individuals from chatting with you would get rid of a large chunk of bitching problems right away.

having easy to use filters would be cool too. for instance filters so only those on you friends list can chat with you. or donators only, or those in a certain cult only

I wouldn't say it's difficult to "check" them, I'd say it's difficult to "manage" them.

YES. if i want to find a pm from two days ago sonetimes i have to look through so many pms even though i no who its from.

yes great way to put i cant find anybody who i have made a deal with, it would just be easier to IM other members and that way u can go back to a conversation with them with ease and remember what kinda deal u made

If you know who it is you can go to their profile and view all messages you have exchanged with just that member...

I think an improved private messaging system would be rad, but I don't really think instant is really needed, though I wouldn't be against it. Maybe and on/off function that would let you chose to be active on it. If "off" could just default to being the normal system.
