Best rockered park skis?

so i've been looking into which skis to get, and i couldn't decide what type of skis to get so people just said get rockered skis, they told me they where generally really good all round skis and excellent in the park. I've heard alot of people say Armada Halo and K2 recoil. I just want to get a very wide choice... I also like to consider the less used companies like on3p, bluehouse, ect cuz i'd rather have different skis to everyone else but i'd be happy using recoils ect...Just looking for great skis.

Armada Alpha 1's or Halo's are definitely near the top of the list for rockered park skis. Playful and extremely agile shape with rocker/camber/rocker, they destroy everything in the park. Everyone's copied their design cause its so damn boss.

From what i've heard next years Chronics are sick. They added a bit of rocker and they look like theyre gonna be a great ski.

on3p filthy rich is definitely one to consider, especially if longevity is a priority.

if you want to save weight go with an armada halo/alpha.

recoil is good in many snow conditions, but has a less obvious rocker than the previously mentioned.

all are good choices in their own right. understand that "rocker" is a generic term and performs differently from brand to brand. the recoil rocker will behave much differently than the alpha/ filthy rich rocker.

The S3s are absolutely the best ski I've ever owned. Low swing weight, really playful and smooth in pow, stable and wide underfoot for stomping jumps and hitting rails. And durable a hell.

I havent riden them, but i have heard great things about k2 revivals and you can get them fairly cheap

why not, taking your pow skis on a lap through the park is fun as fuck

i spent a whole day on my jjs in the park because it had snowed that morning but got all tracked out and it was my most fun day of the season

Also just about any ON3P park ski, also heard good things about the Rossi Scimitar. That things crazy, 100% rocker, no camber whatsoever. Apparently they are a sick ski though.

^^dont buy a surface park ski theyll break in about 10 days.
Ive heard great things about the ON3P FR and I used to have the alpha 1's and they were really fun.

yep, same here never heard any complaints about the pow skis, my watch lifes broke exactly where the rocker would start on the pow skis, so stay away from their park skis in my opinion.

Yeah, it's too bad their park skis are that way, super common. Their park line is comparable to Suspects, but hey, it is what it is.

Those are all mtn, or powder skis with 100% rocker. Maybe not the best for park.....

Some of the guys in here are tampon packing pussys.

Eps, hellbents, lizzies, Scimmys all ski park great and just as good as any other park ski.

I fucking love my bents in the park. They aren't the best for technical rail tricks, but are so much fun for lazy buttering, presses, and just big 180s and stuff. Feels like you're landing on giant pillows.

I thought the Revivals I tried were pretty dead, heavy, and unresponsive. I'd rather ski Hellbents in the park, and that's saying something.

If you're more focussed on pipe and jumps, the Ace of Spades is really good. Although the rocker is pretty minimal - my 10/11 non-rockered ones have more rocker after a week riding them than my friend's brand new 11/12 "cam-rock" models.

I don't want to make a thread for this simple question but I also don't want to thread jack so just a few answers are fine, but are rockered park skis fine in powder? The powder I am talking about is like 8 inches three times a year. So nothing deep or crazy. I was just wondering if you would still get good enough float to have an awesome time messing around.

should be fine if its only 3 ttimes a year, ive taken regular camber park skis into foot deep pow and was perfectly fine, just depends on your ability to ski pow

Thats what i was thinking. i have a friend who slays pow on afterbangs and one that wont use anything but JJs. I just don't want to pay out the ass for two pair of skis when I can get by on one (mainly board but figured i would give skiing a try). +k

thing is i've never ski'd pow, and the closest to pow i get is a few cm snow dump on a pist or in rocky glades... i'm a good skier in general though, it's just powder i'm not sure cuz i've never even tried

i just got '12 jj's, they're used but i'm still scared of ruining them more on rails. they hold up decently if i gently lap the park a bit? seems like butters and presses would be insane, and i won't be able to resist
