haha right of course.. does anybody else get bored watching snowboarding. i can barely make it through an edit. not to mention a movie. i had to fast forward/skip so much shit in Art of Flight to make it through that.

98% disagree. Art of Flight should of been half as long as it was, ill agree with that.

I love watching snowboarding edits just as much as i love watching ski edits. Scotty Steve is mind-blowing and incredibly fun to watch, along with many other similar riders. Sure some snowboard edits might be boring, but i guarantee i can find just as many boring ski edits.

Some edits are amazing. I really get bored of watching fisheye shots to death metal though. I think besides maybe the Weak and a few other edits there isn't much of the fisheye shit filming in skiing, not to say the Weak is bad.

yeah i see your point. but with skiing i know what i like to watch (different pros, styles, videographers, company edits, ect). where as sb edits im going in blind and usually come out disappointed. obviously there are some things that i can enjoy watching. but 99% of what i watch im usually like "well this feature woulda been cool to watch a skier hit." i just cant relate to riding, and find it unimpressive in comparison to skiing.

This is exactly how I feel. While there's some skiers who I don't enjoy watching, I know which styles and skiers I like, so I watch these edits. Snowboarding can be cool to watch at first but I am quickly bored by frontboards and all their tricks that look similar. Not to mention their jump game just looks like shit compared to skiing.

If they show someone biff it on something gnarly, obviously they eventually made it, thus you gotta watch the movie to see the actual footage of the made attempt.

Also, FUCK SNOWBOARDING THAT SHIT IS SEW GAY N LAME N STUFF N YEAH N FUCK SNOWBOARDING N SKIING IS SO MUCH COOLER N STUFF N THINGS.

I love to watch snowboarding, I don't know how everyone can "get bored" watching a sport so similar to skiing, maybe its the fact that I like skateboarding but shiiit. Shoot the moon was one of the sickest movies that came out last year, I honestly liked it more than after dark, I can't wait to see Darkside.

For me its not really that snowboarding is boring. It's just not as interesting to watch as skiing so I would rather watch skiing.

I prefer to watch skiing, but like someone else said earlier I think it´s because I havn´t found many SB edits where I like the style. That Dash Kamp edit from Jiberish this year was one of the few SB edits I´ve really enjoyed.

And I have to say I don´t like the huge amount of 50-50s. Sure they can look good, but in most movies and edits it´s overdone

Dash has some of that skier steeze though throwing in the sick shifties mid spin. I will agree with this though.

There are still alot of good edits. Haldor and Torstein put out awesome edits that are enjoyable to watch. The video op posted is horendous. that is the style that made me switch to only watching ski edits.
