My Macbook Pro recently started automatically started to turn Airport mode on so I loose my WIFI without me touching anything. After the first time it happened I restarted my computer and my Airport mode was off so I continued to surf the web but 20 minutes later it happened again so I restarted and it kept on happening, eventually the intervals between airport going on and me restarting my computer become shorter until now where my Airport mode has been completely turned on and even when I try to turn Airport off it won't let me. This is a very annoying problem and i'm not sure if its an easy fix where fellow NS'ers can help or if I have to send my computer in to get it fixed :( If anybody has any suggestions or resolutions K+ will be rewarded as usual. Thanks.
Do you mean turn airport mode off? Because if I'm not mistaken, AirPort is Mac's connection with WiFi...maybe that's just how mine is, I honestly have no idea.
Just take it to the Apple store, or your university store if you have one. Let someone who knows this shit tell you what's wrong. Charm them into telling you how to fix it yourself. ???????? ...profit.
back up your mac to an external hard drive then do the mac equivalent of restoring it. i would just email apple customer service, they're really helpful
