who do you thing has the best all mountain ski???
i way about 150 and i hardly ever ski powder. i work on 540 + spins and sometimes hit rails every day but then want a ski that can carve on hardpack grromers or sometimes i will take a mogul run. im about 5'9 also
are the dead moneys light???
Horses for courses. Depends how you ski, what you like to do, where you ski, blah blah.
The old-style Obsethed, 105 underfoot, tip and tail rocker, camber underfoot... I thought that was a pretty damn good one-ski quiver. In my mind for a ski to be truely all-mountain it ought to be able to hold it's own on a pow day (so >100mm underfoot, tip rocker at the least), lay down a decent carve on the groomers (reasonably cut, and a "normal" shape) and still be fun in the park.
But that's just my take on it.
Are we only allowed current models?
But this argument is pointless, unless you've skied at least 11 All Mountain skis including the Blend.
I've skied the Blend, and they were heavy and kinda dead. But since I haven't skied a whole lot of other skis, I'm not going to try and rattle off 10 that are better. But of those that I have skied, the K2 Kung Fujas, Atomic Blog and Volkl Gotama (gotta be on-form on them though) were better skis in my opinion. Also the old shape Obsethed, and the old shape Kung Fujas. K2 Revival was worse.
