Apologize, wasn't reading every post. For me, it's not the fact that a wildfire is close to homes, it is the fact that there have been, what maybe 7 to 8 uncontrollable fires in the last seven days or so that are in my relative area. Yes I know that fires happen every year, but this year there have been many more than average and it is only June. The last big fire that has been in the area where I live was 2002, we got evacuated and even though we were having a terrible drought that year this was the only fire near the size of the fires this year.
This was the missionary ridge fire in 2002.
In my opinion, any fire is a bad fire, this year is just worse then those in the past.
