Liberty vs. Rossi

Im in the market for new skis but i have no clue which to get out of the two i have chosen, which are the Rossi Scratch and the Liberty Antigen.

I ski in QC so we dont get many good snow days, our conditions vary from ice to slush. The hill closest to my house is cluttered with rails and only has two jumps. So i need a ski that can kill rails, but can still boost some jumps. But since i like rails more, and ski rails more i want a ski that can slay rails.

I'm 5'8 and 135lbs and still growing and i will be getting either the 176 or 174. I want a light, poppy, durable ski with a low swing weight. My concerns where that the Rossignol skis will be too stiff to have fun, and press around for someone who is my weight. so Ill take any input.

if you want poppy, dont pick the rossi.

any particular reason you are only looking at these two skis? based on what kind of skiing u like to do, i would look hard at a line tc, or the line step up if pop is a priority. finding a soft ski that is easy for you to flex and one that is super poppy will be hard. the two dont usually co-exist together in the same package.

domain is a good option. soft, easy, fun. definitely a rail oriented ski.

but i also heard they dont have much pop and are heavy? and im interested in the mastermind, yes i know i wont be able to use it for more than a season, but it looks like a fun, light rail ski thaat i can destroy. lol

k2s because of their construction are slightly heavier than other skis in terms of swing weight in the tips and tails. they arent complete tanks tho. very easy to flex. but ya there are lighter alternatives out there.

Well i skied on both the Liberty Antigen and the Rossi Scratch and i will thell u go with the Antigen. In therms of weight they are about the same and same with swing weight but the antigen is a better ski in general. Better flex pattern, better pop, and is more durable. Here is me in all black slaying on them:
