Im a camera noob. Help

Hey, i have been using a go pro my whole skiing career. but i recently got an offer for a sony handycam dcr-sr45 with opteka hd2. So basically i know nothing about cameras at all and i would like someone to educate me on this product.

It's not HD. It's not worth your time, no matter how much you're paying. The only SD camera even worth consideration is a DVX and even that's "iffy" these days.

Aka don't buy it.
