I think the Transit it probably going to be the best van/car to live out of. 4cyl, so it's decently fuel efficient for driving everywhere, small enough to not be a hassle but large enough for a sleeping area, ski storage, and some shelving for everything you'd need. Sure you'd have a hard time getting laid, but for a season of kick ass touring the US+Canada, damn, i'd be so down
