Replying to I'm 5'10", 179 K2 Revival or 176 Volkl Ledge? +k for help!

easy.steezy:
I really need help!  I bought 179 K2 Revivals with griffon schizos last year and rode on them the entire season.  I'm 5'10" and 170 pounds.  The length is fine for groomers, but I felt like they were a little long for me in the park.  I landed a couple sketchy 3s towards the end of the season, just to give you an idea of my skill level..

My question is, would it be worth it to trade my Revivals for the Ledge?  I have a deal that I could work out with someone.  Or would 3 cm of length and a little more flexy ski not be worth the trade?  Because I'm just worried that I'm not good enough at park to really make a decision on this.  I know that ski length varies with the person:  some like them longer/shorter than other people.  But I just don't know what I prefer in the park yet.  Would it be easier to progress on a pair of shorter sticks?
