Huge grow op bust in my town

530 plants growing in the woods in my town. Police found it off an anonymous tip. Cameras hidden in the trees, mechanical watering system. Police filled two huge dump trucks to bring the plants from the site to the station where they'll "destroy" it. If all the plants were grown and harvested it could have been more than a million dollars.

No indoor for days. When you grow indoor you can get the temperature and lighting perfect for your plant to germinate dank buds. You can get dank outdoor but it wont compare to a good indoor grow.

I agree you'll get more potent high end bud but you're never going to be able to reproduce sunlight and nature in its entirety. I enjoy the high more personally. I see where you're coming from though and admittedly most of what I burn comes from inside.

I smell bullshit. I doubt you even know where you weed comes from. Enjoy smoking your mites with your outdoor reggie poo.

Indoor is controlled. You can flower the buds later and get more buds. You can prevent the female from being pollenated. You can control pests. You can control the humidity, lights, soil and temperature.

Even if sunlight is better, one hard freeze and you plants are done for. You can control so many variables indoors, it makes the quality of sunlight in contrast to indoor growing lights obsolete.

How do I need to educate my self??? Indoor grows will yield your bud quicker and potentially danker how ever they cost more then outdoor. Out door grows can be dank but the grower needs to know what they are doing. The outdoor I have smoked is usually less dense but still prime bud. I'm planning on doing a little grow though out the summer in my friends tree house its vented to the natural breezes and we will be using lights since the tree house is covered so its like a hybrid grow.

The other night at a bonfire at my buddies place, a helicopter went by with a spot line on. We both live in a pretty rural area, and they were just shining it on the woods and fields. At first I thought it was looking for an escaped convict, because we both live about 1-2 miles away from the local prison. However, he said that they go by several times a week, and he thinks that they're looking for grow ops. Thoughts?

Several times a week is a lot of heli time for finding grows, especially this early in the season. They would have to get very lucky and spot evidence other than the plants, as they are still very small. Also, why would they go over the same spot several times a week? It could definitely be looking for grows, just unlikely.

hahaha, but yea I guess if they go by that often it is pretty unlikely. Maybe it's not as often as he says. He was a little bit drunk. Or maybe its something else completely. Although, I can't imagine what a helicopter would have to do every week in that area after dark haha.

I know exactly where it's grown actually so ignorant post is ignorant. And as for the advantages of growing inside, yeah no shit. I never said it was easier outside I said it was impossible to recreate natural sunlight and an outdoor environment inside. And as for outdoor being obsolete you're a fucking moron. That's like saying its easy and efficient enough to make Budweiser so there is no need for Sam Adams. Btw the bull shit you smell is that garbage you're probably smoking weed guru. I'm glad you've seen a clip on the advantages of growing indoors, go try it yourself now I already have.

there are 5-6 of those a year where I live. In BC, 4% of houses hold some sort of marijuana growing operation. My aunts neighbor got busted for having a 1k+ operation about a year ago.

Out door denser? Maybe if you live in the perfect climate for it. Germination is key man. Its about the temperature and humidity the seed germinates. Dank weed mostly depends on the strain, nutrients you feed it, and most importantly trimming the male buds of the plant before its to late. Mexi dirt is made for profit so they do not tend to their bud properly and dont give the plant a good amount of nutrients needed. That's why the weed is dirt.
