How much to charge family?

Actually a very distant relative. My mom's cousin's daughter is getting married in august. They have already hired a very expensive pro to be the photographer (because they're loaded and very proper, but Sari, the bride, is real chill) and she has asked me to:
-Set up a photo booth in the barn where the reception is, and take pictures for the night
-take a couple pics of the wedding
-take a couple candids during the reception
I only see her once a year, so were not really close. What do I charge? This will actually be my second wedding, i'll be doing my first july 6th in denver (anybody wanna meet up???). for those that dont know, heres my setup:
T2i
tokina 11-16
tamron 17-50 when i get some money
50 1.8
canon 70-200 2.8L
099xb legs and 701hdv head
yognuo 560 and triggers
prolly going to be picking up a strobe from AB or einstein at some point this summer

so i figure ill be taking pics for 4 hours. im aiming in between 200-400$. What should i make it? Am i off?

should probably get an actual photo head instead of using your 701...

This is tough, because you have to balance professionalism with family. Is your family even going to this wedding?

Remember, it's not only pics for four hours - I'm assuming she expects you to do the post production too...I don't know how long photoshopping her requested shots will take, but you may end up putting a decent amount of time in after the shoot...

Also 200-400 is a pretty big range, hahahaha; narrow that shit down.

I'd want about $275-300 for the whole thing. So I think you should ask for $400 if they're the bargaining type and just ask straight up if not.

Thanks blondie! greatly appreciate your response. My whole family will be going. we prolly wouldn't if we had to travel, but she is having it in her parents backyard which is 5 min from my house. I was thinking about 300$, but i thought i'd throw that range out there in case i was off a little. I think i'll go with that. I will be putting in a decent amount of time for post production, and ill make sure she understands that when i name the price. alright, time to make the call. thanks for the help man!

I shot my girlfriend's dad's wedding for $400. It was very laid back so I shot only a couple things before the ceremony, then the whole ceremony, a few clips at the chapel after, and the toasts at the reception. Not a whole lot. I then cut together a trailer and full video. In retrospect, the job should have been more like $700, but oh well.
