Thicker astro-turf?

Has anyone used astro-turf that has longer strands in it almost similar to grass? +K for reply

the longer the bristles are the stiffer they have to be if you want to hold speed. The only true long bristled artificial turf is that snowflex stuff, which is really expensive for your backyard setup.
