Who knows who Norman Borlaug was?

Im doing a report on him and I have to relate his accomplishments back to American Society. Basically I need to prove he was an influential American, but how did he influence America? I know he had a major impact on the world, but how America?

Only a third of my grade is riding on the presentation by the way..

father of the green revolution....

how can you not find some bullshit about how important going green is to us today....  think renewable resources for energy, etc that kinda shit

the green revolution and the green movement are 2 different things. Norman worked on hunger, our politics are all based upon "emissions" and such. Is it the same movement?
